The Devil has come to us in the form of a shimmying, hyena-laughing, red-white-and-blue headband-wearing TV show host named Blanca Fiberton who exhorts/extorts you to worship at The Church of All Screens. Whether she’s seducing or converting an audience member, embodying the mirror image gender roles of high school dating, or — natch — mummifying a delighted volunteer in plastic wrap, she’s making America great again by minimizing science, maximizing “whiteness” right down to her yummy tights and leotard ensemble, and being both hilarious and horrific in a crescendo of 2020 double-talk.
